Eric Fletcher
on February 2013 published an article 5 CMO Identify The Characteristics of Successful Teams. In this article he mentioned the comments of 5 colleagues  about characteristics of successful team and everyone have different views about this because everyone gave answers according to their experience of life. According to Steve Bell every person need to aware about their strengths and weaknesses because it helps them to manage that when we need to step back or move forward. In the words of Allen Faqua, every member needs to know what exactly they have to achieve means what is the real target to which they have to reach. Lisa Simon said that boss need to friendly and treat their subordinates as a friends which helps in better result. Moreover, Paul and Deborah said about communication and accountability.

Opinion:
In my opinion all the point mentioned by authors colleagues are so perfect to explain the real meaning of team. Good thing is that every one gave the different and wonderful answer along with the examples. This shows that they also work in team and they are perfect in team. Moreover they knows the importance what exactly team is. I want to suggest that if start working in team firstly know strong and weak point of own and team members so you can support each other and defense on another when needed.

SUMMARY

Chris Joseph published the article Describe the Characteristics of Effective Teamwork to briefly explain the characteristics of Effective Teamwork. Chris describe that Team is the group of person who take responsibility to work together to complete the task. He mention that ability to do something successful and effective is needed in team otherwise to whom work is given if don't have experience whole team have to suffer that's why right choice of candidate is needed. Moreover, Rules are need to follow to attain success as he said no decision is implemented until all the members agree on the decision. Furthermore, every members get credit for what he/she does means he/she is accountable both for the success and failure for team so they learn and try to give their best next time.

OPINION:

In my opinion if any of the member have willingness to do the particular task he/she get the first the to do that because this will give more bright result. Every member have self respect and self esteem that's why he/she wants credits for what he/she did and this helps as a great motivator. Experience makes a perfect team member because no one have experience have from birth so when he/she work and deal with different issue they earn experience which further helps them to become a good team member.

Summary:

Characteristics of Effective Teamwork article is published by George N. Root. He wrote that effective team create its own characteristics. When effective  team start working they create their own environment to achieve their goals. He mention that it is not compulsory that every member agree on the views of the other. They can give their own views on contradictory side to find which views is better for the team or company.Participation is the main part of any teamwork as single member of team  is not able to do every task that's why every member need to contribute to make their team strong. No back biting is needed in every team if they have any issue need to communicate face to face for the solution as they all are team members.

OPINION:

I totally agree with the publisher that if everyone is free to speak it create more opportunity and every member learn new views. Moreover, it helps to reduce problems and it creates trust among all team means it create team by reducing back biting about other members. Similarly like other points contribution in work very important because Authority without Responsibility and Responsibility without Authority both leads to failure and make person ineffective.

Top 10 Qualities that make a successful leader

SUMMARY:

Tanya Prive on December 2012 published a great article Top 10 Qualities that make a successful leader that express a lot of points about Successful Team. She stated that everyone that join a job and team wants to be great leader among all. So she give stress about Team Leader that is the most important characteristic of the Successful Teams. She wrote that Leader needs Confidence, Sense of humor,Ability to Delegate and Inspire, Creative etc.

OPINION:

In my opinion Leader is the strongest and important Characteristic of Successful team. As team leader have the right to take decision and make their company strong by using his/her innovative and creative knowledge.Moreover, Leader can encourage and inspire the whole team to work hard and achieve goals. Similarly is leader have positive attitude toward work he/she bring company to great success and make their team feel proud to be part of his/her team. But if attitude is negative or mean then everything happen opposite. Moving a head delegate of authority helps him to complete work quickly and which also make him/her more trustful among the team. Finally, Confidence matter the most in good leader otherwise no one from team listen him/her are follow his instructions. Selection of Team leader matter the most that's why this is the main characteristic of the Successful Teams.

Characteristics of  Successful Teams 


Summary:
We choose this article by author Don Hofstrand  updated December 2009. First of all  a Team is a group of members having different skills and in which members works together by sharing responsibility and authority and works toward a common goal to achieve success. There are many characteristics needed to form a successful team. Team leader is the first and main characteristic of successful team.Team leader needs to be skillful so that he/she able to control,inspire,guide etc. their team members (Hofstrand, 2009).Goals needs to discuss with all members simply and clearly so members can give their best because no team can work perfectly if they are not aware about the proper goals of team/business (Hofstrand, 2009).Corporation is the keystone of every team. No team can survive without corporation (Hofstrand, 2009) .Trust means having believe in other members without being jealous of them (Hofstrand, 2009).Communication is sharing and  free to give own views without any restrictions.If team have no proper communication channel their will be no trust,corporation that leads to failure (Hofstrand, 2009).Rewards works as a motivator and it can be in the form of promotion,bonus etc. (Hofstrand, 2009)


OpinionIn my opinion nothing is better than having a team because united we stand divided we fall according to famous quote. Work needs to divided according to the authority and there should be no  partiality on the basis of caste,color, religion. Evaluation of team performance can also helps in being better team. Finally, if team works together they will perform better and earn more profit or achieve their goals easily.
